Condensate |
Compressed air is the products which created through the process of compressing atmospheric air in air compressor. There are many contaminated materials in atmospheric air. Also water vapor is present in the atmospheric air which is inhaled into the compressor. The vapor is gaseous invisible and completely mixed with air. Condensates is a polluted liquid which condensed in oversaturated water vapor with various dirty materials ; oil, dust, metallic oxide and etc. |

Relative humidity |
| ▶ The amount of water vapor that can be held in air is dictated by the temperature of the air. Hot air can hold more water (as vapor ) than cold air. Typically, atmospheric air contains approximately 50% if its water vapor holding capacity for a given temperature. This propriety of the maximum vapor holding capacity is referred to as relative humidity. |

Dewpoint and Condensation |
| ▶ When air with a given relative humidity is cooled, it reaches a temperature at which it is saturated. At saturation, the relative humidity of the air is 100%, ie., the air contains as much water vapor as it can hold. The temperature at which the air is at 100% relative humidity is known as the dew-point of the air. Cooling air beyond the dew-point results in condensation of the water vapor. |

Where dose water come from? |
| ▶ Ambient air, which includes atmospheric humidity as water vapor, is drawn int the compressed air system where it is compressed to a desired discharge pressure. When the compressed air is discharged, its temperature is elevated and the moisture content is high. As the water vapor within the compressed air cools, a significant amount condenses int liquid. |
